How do I book a session?
You can book a session on the Contact page of this website, email us at hhcounseling143@gmail.com or call 754-229-9168.
What is your availability?
We are available Monday through Friday from 10 AM to 6 PM. There are options for 6PM-7PM sessions, please call to confirm.
Do you do a free consultation?
Yes! We do a free 15 minute phone consultation to ensure that our therapists are a good fit for your individual needs.
What can I expect for my first session?
Sessions will typically run from 45-60 minutes depending on the type of services requested. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the session to fill out paperwork related to your care.
How often should I come to therapy?
We suggest coming on a weekly basis for the first few months. After that the client has the choice to come on a bi-weekly basis. We are very flexible and understand financial concerns. Please speak with the therapist about scheduling to meet your needs.
Where do I go for the sessions?
After booking your service, a text will be sent with the specific location and step-by-step details of how to get to the office. Upon your arrival to the office, please have a seat in the waiting area and relax until your therapist comes to greet you.
Do you do virtual therapy?
Yes, we do! TeleTherapy is available depending upon the individual needs of the client and requires the first session to be in person.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure to cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you will be charged for the full rate of the session.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes we are currently accepting United Behavioral Health Commercial Plans, Oscar Health Plan, and Oscar Small Group Plan.
How much do the sessions cost?
Please call to discuss fees, as they may vary with the type of service requested.
How do I pay?
We accept cash and all major credit cards as forms of payment. Payment is due at the time of the service.
I’ve never done therapy before and I am a little nervous, is there anything else I need to know?
Firstly, it is okay to feel nervous, anxious, or fearful of something you have never done before. Your decision to commit to the enhancement of you and/or your family’s mental wellness is one of the most essential journeys you will embark on. The knowledge and skills you and/or your family will gain from therapy will change your life forever. Assured, you are in the right place and this is the right time.
